Day 1: Arrive New York City

Welcome to New York City – the bustling ‘Big Apple’ – where a three-night stay is the perfect way to kick off your unforgettable holiday. Be transferred to your hotel and enjoy the evening to explore the metropolis at your leisure.

Day 2: New York City

Start your day with a welcome breakfast as you meet your fellow travellers before setting off on a sightseeing tour of New York City. Guided by a local, discover the sites of well-known film and television shows, and explore trendy hot-spots and classic landmarks such as Broadway, Wall Street and Times Square. The rest of the day is put aside for you to enjoy at leisure.

Day 3: New York City

This morning, set out on a Signature Experience, then select the touring experience that appeals to you. Enjoy the afternoon to further explore New York City at your own pace.

Day 4: New York City, Philadelphia

Farewell New York City this morning as you’re guided in comfort to the historic city of Philadelphia. This afternoon you can admire the Liberty Bell, an important symbol of American independence which dates to 1752

Day 5: Philadelphia, Lancaster, Washington DC

Depart Philadelphia and travel to Lancaster a fascinating town known for its large Amish Community. Explore the community and enjoy a Signature Experience here before continuing to the USA’s capital, Washington DC.

Day 6: Washington DC

We’ve all heard stories and seen pictures of the USA’s icons, and today presents the chance to pay a visit to some of them on a guided tour. Pass by the White House before stopping at the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial, to name a few. After the tour, have the rest of the day to explore.

Day 7: Washington DC, Niagara Falls

After breakfast this morning, continue your journey to the magnificent natural wonder of Niagara Falls, where you’ll stay overlooking the iconic waterfall.

Day 8: Niagara Falls, Toronto

This morning, take an unforgettable cruise to the base of Niagara Falls. Later, savour a Signature Experience at the nearby town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, then travel to bustling Toronto. 

Day 9: Toronto

Set off on a discovery of Toronto, including a visit to the CN Tower. The most populated city in Canada, Toronto is a melting pot of cultures and a joy to explore.

Day 10: Toronto, Thousand Islands, Ottawa

Your journey continues today as you travel into the province of Ontario on the way to Ottawa, the Canadian capital. On the way, stop off at the picturesque Thousand Islands for a scenic cruise. A leisurely cruise is the perfect way to take in the constellation of islands topped with pine trees, castles and estates. Arrive at your magnificent hotel and relax over dinner.

Day 11: Ottawa 

Start your day with a guided discovery of the capital, pausing at Parliament Hill among other sites. Afterwards, set out on your chosen activity.

Day 12: Ottawa, Montreal

Today you’ll enjoy a fantastic Signature Experience before continuing your journey to the French-Canadian hub of Montreal.

Day 13: Montreal

This morning you’ll discover this beautiful city on a sightseeing tour with a local guide. Montreal has a distinctive French flair and is home to 18th-century facades and heritage churches, including the Notre-Dame Basilica. Tonight, enjoy dinner with a Quebecois flavour.

Day 14: Montreal, Quebec City

After breakfast, continue to Quebec City, a charming and historic gem perched along the St. Lawrence River. Set out on a guided tour of the city before gathering with your fellow travellers to toast your discovery of eastern North America with a special dinner.

Day 15: Vancouver

Be transferred to the airport for your flight to picturesque Vancouver. Once you’ve landed, we’ll take you to your hotel before tonight’s welcome dinner.

Day 16: Vancouver

Today you’ll experience the very best of Vancouver on a fantastic half-day sightseeing tour. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll soak in the scenery at the vast Stanley Park, explore the trendy Granville Island and immerse yourself in the historic neighbourhood of Gastown.

Day 17: Vancouver, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer and soak up the views from your bi-level glass-dome carriage in GoldLeaf Service. Gaze up at the Coast Mountains and pass Hell’s Gate. Follow the Thompson River on the way to Kamloops.

Day 18: Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Banff

Your rail journey heads towards the Rockies. See the engineering marvel of the Spiral Tunnels and traverse Kicking Horse Pass. Once in Banff National Park, head for the ‘Castle in the Rockies’, Fairmont Banff Springs.

Day 19: Banff

Spend the day on your chosen activity.

Day 20: Banff, Lake Louise

After a tour through the town, set out along the Trans-Canada Highway and through Banff National Park to Lake Louise.

Day 21: Moraine Lake, Lake Louise

First up this morning, you’ll travel to Moraine Lake and spend time marvelling at the glacially fed waters. Look forward to a free evening.

Day 22: Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper

Join the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic stretches of road. Pause at Peyto Lake, stop at Columbia Icefield and journey onto Athabasca Glacier. Continuing via Athabasca Falls, your day ends in Jasper.

Day 23: Jasper

Freedom of Choice experiences offer a new perspective today.

Day 24: Jasper, Mt Robson, Sun Peaks

Today, take in views of Mt Robson as you travel along the Yellowhead Highway.

Day 25: Sun Peaks, Whistler 

Follow the tracks of early gold rush pioneers through the Cariboo region, stopping at Seton and Duffey lakes. Later, re-enter the Coast Mountains and learn why Whistler attracts so many outdoor enthusiasts.

Day 26: Whistler

This afternoon, set out on your chosen activity.

Day 27: Whistler, Georgia Strait, Victoria

Travel south along the Sea to Sky Highway. Board your BC Ferries journey to Vancouver Island. Continue to Chemainus, a town famous for its vibrant outdoor murals, before arriving in Victoria.

Day 28: Victoria, The Butchart Gardens

Tonight, enjoy a special dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 29: Victoria, Vancouver, Embark Ship

Return to Vancouver and board your ship for a cruise through Alaska’s Inside Passage.

Day 30: The Inside Passage

Spend a full day on board as your ship cruises the coast of British Columbia.

Day 31: Juneau

Alaska’s picturesque capital, Juneau, is set at the foot of the mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, and outdoor activities are plentiful. Disembark and explore at leisure or with an optional excursion (own expense).

Day 32: Skagway

Arrive in Skagway, the Inside Passage’s northernmost point. See heritage buildings, now protected as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, and maybe set off on an excursion (own expense).

Day 33: Glacier Bay National Park

Awake to World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park. Take in the calving tidewater glaciers and learn from local rangers who explain the geological wonders. If you’re lucky, you might spot whales in the wild. Humpbacks and orcas are plentiful in these waters.

Day 34: Ketchikan

Disembark in the cheery town of Ketchikan and spend the day exploring as you please.

Day 35: The Inside Passage

Head south through the Inside Passage as you savour your final day on board.

Day 36: Disembark Ship, Depart Vancouver

Your journey comes to an end today. Disembark and be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
