From the spiritual allure of Vatican City to the charming backstreets of Trastevere and the iconic legacy of the Colosseum, The Eternal City is a treasure trove of endless experiences.

Day 2: Cruising at Sea.

Day 3: Santorini
Santorini, one of the world’s most beloved islands, is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, whitewashed villages, and active volcanic terrain. Adventure awaits above the Aegean Sea in spectacular ways. A cable car ascends to Fira, a bustling cliffside town filled with historic cathedrals, captivating museums, and cosy tavernas. Head to the coast for a refreshing swim in the deep blue waters lapping at the red and black pebbled beaches, or uncover layers of history at the excavated site of Akrotiri. Whether by bicycle, ATV, or on foot, exploring this Cycladic gem is sure to impress.

Day 4: Ephesus
The UNESCO World Heritage ruins of Ephesus astonish even seasoned travellers. Despite 150 years of excavations, only 20 percent of this ancient city has been revealed. Marvel at the Celsus Library, built in 117 A.D., featuring towering columns and a statue of the goddess of wisdom. A cruise to Ephesus offers a glimpse into Turkish life, inviting you to stroll along the seafront promenade and vibrant city center. Walk down Marble Street, paved with actual marble, leading you from downtown to the Temple of Artemis, where one solitary column remains of this ancient wonder.

Day 5: Mykonos
Nestled in Greece’s Cyclades archipelago, Mykonos exudes vibrant energy. With its pristine white buildings, sparkling blue waters, and lively nightlife, The Island of the Winds reflects the colourful spirit of its residents. Wander narrow marble pathways adorned with blooming bougainvillea, or cycle past the charming Ano Mera village. Discover Greece’s maritime heritage at Armenistis Lighthouse and explore the Folklore Museum’s Mykonian ship models. Join the lively beach parties on Super Paradise’s sandy shores, or enjoy a breathtaking sunset from an open-air seaside taverna.

Day 6: Cruising at Sea.

Day 7: Naples/Capri
With the majestic Mount Vesuvius gracing its skyline, Naples is a bustling city rich in beauty. Discover its stunning neoclassical architecture at places like Gesu Nuovo Church, adorned with exquisite frescoes and gold detailing. Delve deeper into history at the San Gennaro catacombs, the burial site of Naples' first bishops from the 2nd century A.D. Stroll along the Miglio Sacro ("Holy Mile") and soak up the atmosphere in the cafes and shops of the Sanita district, enjoying a zuccherato (sweetened espresso). Take a short bus ride to the base of Mount Vesuvius for a 20- to 30-minute hike to the summit, followed by a tour of the ruins of Pompeii.

Day 8: Rome
Returning to Rome, the city continues to enchant with its historical and cultural richness. Whether you're savouring pasta in a local trattoria, zipping past ancient landmarks in an Ape Calessino, or admiring art at Villa Borghese, the spirit of The Eternal City invites exploration. From the spiritual gravitas of Vatican City to the picturesque streets of Trastevere and the iconic Colosseum, Rome promises endless adventures.
