Once divided by religious lines, with clergy residing in the upper town and laypeople below, your exploration will take you through both areas, starting at the hilltop and descending to the riverbank.

This evening, enjoy a special Captain’s Farewell Reception and Dinner.

Discover the sun-kissed town of Arles, renowned for its remarkable Roman ruins and as the inspiration behind nearly 200 paintings by Van Gogh. Founded by the ancient Greeks in the sixth century BC and originally named Theline, Arles was the site of the Romans’ first bridge across the Rhône River, establishing a vital route between Italy and Spain.
