Day 1: Arrive Prague
Arrive in Prague and check in to your hotel.
Day 2: Prague
Explore Prague on a city tour or hike to its castle.
Day 3: Prague
Enjoy a Czech beer tasting today.
Day 4: Regensburg, Vilshofen, Embark Ship
Travel to Regensberg and enjoy a guided walking tour, then continue on to Vilshofen to board your luxurious ship. This evening you’ll be treated to a festive Bavarian Oktoberfest celebration.
Day 5: Passau
Join a walking tour to admire Passau’s architecture, or take a guided hike up to the Veste Oberhaus fortress. You can also ride to Wernstein on a guided bike tour.
Day 6: Linz, Grein

Day 7: Melk, Spitz
Visit Melk Abbey this morning, or join a bike tour to Marbach. Then sail to Spitz for an excursion to Durnstein, where you can explore the town on a walking tour or hike up to the castle. Alternatively, take a bike tour to Emmersdorf. In the evening, be treated to an exclusive wine festival.
Day 8: Vienna
Explore Vienna on a city tour, or perhaps choose to discover the city by bike. During the afternoon, visit the UNESCO-designated Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens.
Day 9: Bratislava
Discover this fascinating city during your walking tour, or join a special “Tastes of Slovakia” tour. For a more active adventure, hike to Bratislava’s gleaming castle.
Day 10: Budapest
Cruise along the Danube Bend to Budapest, where you will disembark for a tour of the city including the Great Market Hall, Heroes’ Square and Fisherman’s Bastion. Alternatively, you may choose to hike up Castle Hill.
Day 11: Budapest, Disembark Ship
Disembark your ship today and check into your hotel.
Day 12: Budapest
Enjoy a “hidden treasures” tour of Budapest today to discover some lesser-known sites.
Day 13: Depart Budapest
Bid farewell to Budapest and prepare for your homeward flight.
