Travel Receptionist/Admin/Marketing Role - Gisborne

World Travellers - Elliott Travel, Gisborne are seeking to appoint a front-of-shop receptionist to join our dynamic, high-performing team, and support our Travel Designers in all aspects of finalising tailor-made travel experiences for our clients. This is a long-term role with plenty of growth opportunities. 

You will greet our clients either in person or over the phone and establish our clients’ needs before they engage with our team of experts.

You will also provide full administrative support to the team - finalising travel arrangements, handling email correspondence, and fulfilling a wide range of administration and marketing support tasks.

The successful applicant will demonstrate outstanding customer service, strong skills in promoting travel, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, be able to think on the spot, and have a high standard of presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting our clients either in person or over the phone. 
  • Supporting a team of Travel Designers with all their administration requirements.
  • Social Media and Marketing support.
  • Become a central point of contact for all office requirements.

About You:

  • Experience in providing outstanding customer service.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications and general administration.
  • Able to manage a varied workload where multi-tasking is essential.
  • Professional written communication style.
  • Attention to detail, strong accuracy, and good proofreading skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge and passionate about travel.
  • High standard of personal presentation.
